Hi all,

recently my coolant resovo's hoes leaked out all the coolant the only reason why I noticed was a check engine light came on, I was near a pepboys and from everything they had the only good choice was Pennzoil multi vehicle. They had in house stuff and Pennzoil and dex cool [censored] which is bad for my car.

^ this is the product.

I didnt want to risk running the car without coolant or towing it for sake of getting better coolant.

Should I drain the fluid or its safe in my car.
It has had peak global in there before.

I plan on to run Either Honda type II ( the blue stuff ) or Zerex asian in the future.

I actually just found my answer and posting here for others for reference....As there is no data what so ever about this coolant on the internet.

On the jug it says "phosphorous free and low silicate".
Probably a modified good ol' green stuff for the modern engines specially asian cars.

I am glad I got it, it was cheapest AF and on par with pep boy's in house brand.

cheers,

The fact that it specifically says "phosphorous free and low silicate" seems to imply that it is likely closest to or same as a G-05. Add to that it's recommended interval is 5years/150k, which is also the same as G-05. And that looking at the data sheet suitable for list, it includes Ford, Daimler Chrysler, MB and Ford all of which use or have used G-05. And though color is an unreliable indicator, in this case the PDS/pdf says yellow, wouldn't lend itself to being a low silicate original green.

Some bitog members do report satisfactory results using low silicate G-05 in their Asian vehicles. But, I would say that is most likely with a complete flush of the old Asian before going to G-05.

On the negative side, the Pz MultiVehicle AF shown says it's a premix meaning it's best suited to a radiator d&f and not a complete system exchange. If I was going to use a premix or had to, it would be the OEM in this case Honda Type2 premix.

The PZ Multivehicle reminds me of the CAM 2 Global Antifreeze discussed in the thread below.
