My car uses Pentosin G12 (pink/red) which I believe is a no silicate no phosphate HOAT long life coolant. It is not compatible with the older G11 (blue) Pentosin. Is anyone familiar with G12+, which is compatible with both G11 and G12? Is it a better product or did it give up some good qualities to make it compatible?

G12 Plus is primarily meant to be used in all-aluminum motors. VW/Audi G12 Plus Protect is violet and can be mixed with either G11 or G12.

GLYSANTIN G 30 is the same product as G12 Plus, as far as I know, but G-30 is red.

I have no idea which product is better. I switched my '96 Audi from G11 to G12 in '97 and never had a problem.

PIT, I'm not sure about the spelling, but the nickname is PIT, so I suspect that the spelling may be more like pitosin. The doctor used it to speed up labor for my wife on her last childbirth. That was 22 years ago and I still hear about how uncomfortable it was very often.
