I purchased two cases of Pentius PLXL filters from Amazon just recently.

I pulled a sample from each case for inspection. Everything appears to be in good order.

For my F350 7.3 gasser: PLXL2, Made in Korea, LEAK-TESTED 17MHM2840

For my Mustang Coyote: PLXL10575, Made in PRC, 10575 A880 40525


Any guidance on deciphering the date codes, or does it even matter?

I ended up finding them on Amazon Canada for what would be around $50USD for the 12 pack so snagged a case. I have 10 of the PG filters also and still some Champ XL’s kicking around so I’m good on filters on my 7.3L for about 5 years.
