I recently purchased a load of Pentius branded oil and air filters for my companies fleet. They feel very sturdy and seem to be well made. All of their items seem to be made in Korea. Does anyone know if there is a major plant in Korea and who it belongs to? The bypass valve in the back looks very familiar to me. I know that I've seen that design somewhere else in another filter.

I will try to take some pictures of an opened oil filter. These filters are available cheap at Schucks / partsamerica.com. I purchased the oil filters for $3.49/piece. With a commercial account you can get them for about $1.50/piece.

Maybe when you do an oil change, you can cut open the oil filter and take some pictures.

I'm going to cut open a PLB3600 oil filter that is new this weekend. They use the FRAM numbering system as well.

we used those at the caddy dealer I worked at. many of them worked themselves loose or would seep oil before the car came back for its next OC. I never used them on my car but we used those or AC delco on everything. I'd say about 10% were deffective.
