Pennzoil Ultra Platinum does not produce a FULL synthetic 0W30 engine oil. They produce all other grades. Correction: they do have a 0W30 but it is EURO and my auto is NOT Euro. Mobil 1 has 0W30 but I prefer Pennzoil Just don't understand WHY Pennzoil does not. ANY ideas or thoughts on the matter would be appreciated!

Back on the "my auto isn't Euro" thing again? Perhaps look back at some of your previous posts and the answers given you there. Like this one:

And no one here can give you an indication as to WHY Pennzoil does not market that particular product. Are you starting below -30 or so?

Don't remember what car you drive, but a "Euro" oil like Mobil 1 0W-30 or even the Pennzoil variant will work just fine. This was discussed in your previous thread in March of this year, as Z pointed out. You really only need the zero part if it gets super cold where you are, like below zero.

The only readily-available NON-Euro 0w-30 is Mobil 1 AFE. It's been this way for a long time, mainly because the only vehicles that recommend a 0w-30, or a spec that is commonly a 0w-30, are Euro. The only exception that I know of is some newer Hyundai/Kia products. Judging from their forum discussions, owners have a hard time finding an alternative because, there really aren't any unless you go boutique or order online from the niche brands.

Obviously SOPUS doesn't think the ROI will be worth adding it to their product line.
Actually, it doesn't really matter why. They don't and you can't get it. Done.

We’ve been over this before with you. You are making the same two false statements, when the facts are

1. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is full synthetic.

2. You can safely use the Euro (higher spec) oil in your non-Euro car.

Is there a question behind this rant? Because if the question is “why don’t they” - that’s is a question for Pennzoil.

But if the question is - I want a full synthetic oil that meets ILSAC specifications and comes in a yellow bottle - it already exists.

- it would be helpful if you actually stated what your application and OCI plan are, otherwise your complaint is akin to baseless windbaggery
- are you asserting that "Euro" oil is somehow not fit for use in "non-Euro" engines ??? (that's utter poppycock)

Brand loyalty leads to some fickle choices. That's the conundrum you find yourself in.

Have you asked them directly?

My summation: You are grossly overthinking this. And apparently you believe that posting the same topic multiple times will get you different answers.
