Hello all,

I don't post much, but I do read and research plenty on this site. I want to thank everyone for all the valuable information I have collected over the years. Thank you.

I believe this oil, Pennzoil Ultra, is a Top Class product.

-Pennzoil Ultra 5w30

-Royal Purple Oil Filter

-AC Delco Air Filter (newly installed at beginning of OCI)

-Stock engine

-55% hwy / 45% city

The Camaro did not see any track time with this Oil Interval, but I drove it hard. Definitely wasn't babied on the road.

Here are my past UOA's for this vehicle:

Mobil 1 0w40
Delo 15w40
Delo 5w40

I'd stick with PU. You're not going to find a better 5w30 IMO.

Just curious, but why is copper so freaking high

EDIT: Read through a few previous posts. Got it lol

I agree. It's a great 5w30. Though, I traded in the Camaro for an '09 GMC Sierra just last weekend. PU 5w30 will be what I put into the GM 5.3 V8.

Things appear to be trending nicely, though the oil appears to have thickened a bit. Nothing I'd be worried about though.

That is a big change!!
I think you will find the 5.3 likes just about anything you are likely to pour into it
Ours seems to have the least debris on the magnetic drain plug with plain ole PYB 530

Ha Yep! I love them trucks. They come in handy when I go fishing or head out to the woods.

Okay, good to know on that PYB 5w30. I'll try it out.
