Looks good

Looks good.

Purolator still make these?
Unlikely. Purolator has never used a coil type compression spring. Looking at topic filter, I'd lean more to an off shored (eg, China) manufacturer. Does look good, decent jobber filter.

As for gloves use for an oil change, I wouldn't do one without them now. Before latex gloves use became a thing, (many years ago) I went gloveless. So readily available and inexpensive now, SOP for me. To each their own.

Thanks for c&p.

Lot of the PZ-38 and the above filter made in China and or India

I’ve always wore rubber gloves. Better to be safe.
