New to this site and wow this stuff gets great recommendations. Always been a Mobil 1 fan but that Pennzoil rebate and coupon has be thinking about trying some. The vehicles I change the oil in are 05 Chevy Silverado Z71 101k miles, 08 Saturn Aura 37k miles, 08 Nissan Altima 84k miles, 02 Chevy S10 172k miles. What would you go with?!

I used Mobil 1 for years, now I use Pennzoil Platinum for all my cars but my Corvette, it gets Pennzoil Ultra.

UOAs with Mobil 1 showed increasing lead, this prompted my change.

I'm sure that Mobil 1 is still a fine, quality oil.

These days I generally use PP in everything. I used it in our Equinox, I used it in my cruze, and I am using it in my focus. It's usually a good price, and is a very good oil. I do consider using other oils now and again, but it depends on sales and stuff like that. But it is a very good oil

Run it(PP) for 300K in the same engine at 10K OCIs and let us know. I have done that with M1 oils starting back in 1978.

Based upon what we've seen on this board, PP is as up to the task as M1 is.
OTOH, were I you, given the real world results you've seen with M1, I'd stick with it too.
Can't argue with success, and any member would be foolish not to consider the results you've had using M1.
