Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20, 5,258 miles, 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0L (4B11)

No surprises in this report. I will feel completely comfortable extended the OCI to 8,000mi/1yr now that powertrain warranty has expired (at 60,000mi) and the Pennzoil Platinum 0W20 seems to be playing well with my 4B11. I recently moved from Chicago to Nashville, and filled the engine back up with 0W20 following this sample's change. I was considering going with a year round 5W30 for the Tennessee heat, but I have no reason to suspect the 0W20 won't hold up.

I'm no mechanic but I do think that motor is real easy on oil.

It certainly would appear to be that way. There doesn't look to be a ton of other 4B11 UOAs on this site, but those that exist are similar. Realistically, I could throw any SN+ oil in it and get just as good results.
