Hello All,

I use Pennzoil conventional...one of my vehicls I am considering a High Mileage oil. Lot's of good stuff regarding Maxlife..BUT..I sort of loyal to Pennzoil as it is a top notch conventional and I can't imagine their High Mileage not being just as good as Maxlife. I'll stick with 5w30. I think the Pennzoil High Mileage is also the same purebase product use in the conv pennz, if I'm correct? I would like to know if the Pennzoil High Mileage has the same amount of moly, boron, calcium as the regular stuff. Can't find anything about it. It's the mystery oil.

I agree that it would probably be just as good, but one never knows until a VOA is done. Even with that it may not "appear" to be a stellar performer until it is run and some used oil analysis are presented.

Look at PP, the voa of that does not show anything amazing that jumps out at you that shows "hey I am going to be a remarkable performer" but it has consitantly shown very good used oil analysis in most cases.

Although not a VOA, it is a short mileage run, so it gives you a fairly good idea of what is in it.....

In answer to the last question on the attached post, yes, it has some esters in it for seal conditioning.
