If you were going through school in the mid 70’s you covered your books with cut up paper bags and carried around notes in Pee-Chee folders. You also probably doodled on them while bored. Then 8th grade hit, if you know you know.
I ran an unmarked Pee-Chee through AI, along with some prompts of what I remember scribbling on them at the time. AI balked (content filters) so I changed the theme a little and asked it to use its imagination. Hope you enjoy the flashback 😀

In 3rd grade, my buddy and I got caught up in the craze of miniaturization. We saw it in a James Bond movie. We cut pencils down into tiny stubs that could be hidden in your shoe. We wrote "top secret" notes to each other on tiny scraps of paper. Soon, we were turning in our arithmetic homework on pieces of paper no larger than a postage stamp, requiring a magnifying glass to read. Mrs. Hagan soon put a stop to that.

Those look vaguely familiar but never had them. I started kindergarten in 1987. Not sure if those were still the in thing.

I’ve found out just now they were pretty much a West of the Rockies phenomena. Oh well.
