Today is Pearl Harbor Day. Twenty year old twins Leo and Rudolph Blitz from Lincoln, Nebraska went down with the USS Oklahoma and were interred in Honolulu's National Memorial Cemetery in graves marked "Unknown." Now their remains are coming home to an empty grave with a plaque marked with their names and the inscription "In Memory Of Those Lost At Pearl Harbor." Thank you men and thank all of those who put the uniform on.Lest we forget.

Pearl Harbor was a bad mistake for Japan. It brought is into the Pacific, had Pearl Harbor not happened we might have concentrated on Europe. In the 1940s men and machines were moving by boat and thus very hard for Japan to fight a war an ocean away.

For America we had too many boats in one place. It cost us for awhile until we could rebuild them.

Now even in peacetime America is very careful to fully protect our carriers whether in the ocean or at port.

You got that right. We desperately need a leader to step up give the country some direction we have been lacking for forty years.

Thanks for this post. Too many forget how this country was saved by a tremendous UNITED effort in WWII. Brave young men and women were volunteering and organizing and working TOGETHER to defend our country.

Now those same age kids need "safe spaces"...
