do or did anyone use peak oil? i tried to do a search and also checked the used oil analysis section out but seem to be having trouble with the search function.also is it good for five thousand miles between changes? thanks for any replies.

I just bought 4 5qt jugs of this oil for $8.99 per jug.

I'm using it in my ecotec fleet, no problems at all. It is a little on the thin side, my engines seem to like it better, they sound a little more quiet.

I'll stick with it at this price point.

It is a Warren product, I don't know how close it is to the Supertech walmart oil, but I would suspect it is pretty close.

Peak motor oil works very well.Their 10W-40 is a thick tacky oil and my lawnmowers run good on it.These mowers get many hours of hard running and one oil drain each season.

I got 20 quarts and 4 Proline oil filters FAR (the actual cost was sale tax and stamps) from Pep Boys about 2 years ago, I used it in Lexus LS400 with 6-7k/6mo OCI and Honda S2000. As JustinH said, it is thinner than most other conventional's of the same weight and my cars like it.

I would use it in any engine that conventional is recommended.

Same here! 30qts/6 filt's. Using PEAK 5W30 in my daughters 06 Mazda 3i 2.0L that requires 5W20. Runs great and great MPG. Over a year now.

I also got 30 qts FAR and have been using it in my '01 Maxima and '00 4cyl Camry. I do 4-5K OCIs and no issues. Can't beat the price! Down to 8 qts so I'm hoping they do something like this again on Turkey Day.
