I've noticed my local Walmart starting to stock Peak Universal Antifreeze. I work at Dollar General and we carry Peak Blue Mountain Antifreeze. My question is apart from labeling , is there any major differences between them ? Both claim 5yr / 150k service life.

This question could also apply to the strangely cheap Prestone AMAM at Dollar tree. I suspect it's a market segregation move, not letting the "ugly packaged" cheap stuff infringe on the gold-star versions of the name brands.

Based on the info on the internet, as noted above I think safe to assume both what's often referred to as Universal Dex-clones. They get that name because like Dexcool, they are OAT AFs that use 2eha as inhibitor. If you're set on using that type AF, imo buy whichever one has the best price. Seems like the Blue Mountain name made here for DG sales market.

Walmart is about $4 cheaper than DG.

I am looking Peak PURPLE OAT North American Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram coolant concentrate to replace the original coolant in a recently acquired 2013 Dodge Hemi Charger 16 quarts.

Walmart carries it in the Prestone version. At least mine does anyway.
