Peak 10X

Surprisingly little information out there on 10X.

Peak seems to be pushing this as a replacement to the PGL.

Will it replace IAT and what kind of inhibitors does it have?

I am not seeing PGL nor AM/AM as much in my area. We are however seeing PEAK 10X & PEAK OEM coolants.

Allegedly a P-OAT based coolant, no 2-EHA, uses sebacate as an inhibitor. It gets along well with MC Yellow/Prestone Cor-Guard pretty well, there's a quart or so in the '21 Transit 250 3.5 in my sig (that came with MC Yellow).

The main difference in between 10X and other AMAM is that while it is long service interval OAT AF, it doesn't use 2eha as an inhibitor, same as PGL. However, it has longer rated service interval than PGL, is more readily available and less expensive than PGL. While it does contain some phosphate, according to Old World, it's nowhere close to Asian PHoat AF concentration.

Switched my Buick to this (From Dex) and couldn't be happier. I think it's a great AF.

10x is good stuff and works as well as any, but IMO its greatest feature is that it can be used in any car. Those of us with three different car brands can use one AF for all of them instead of having many partial jugs sitting around.

Old thread revival, but would we go as far as to say 10x and Final Charge Pro are related?

Sebacate and no 2-EHA...makes it sound like toyota pink.
