Holy mackerel! I keep forgetting that some time ago GTK got ported to Windows. Come to think of it, I have seen things like Inkscape and GIMP at portableapps.com, too.

Evince will work really, really well.
 
Evince has really improved, too. My old version of Ubuntu was using a rather dated version of Evince, which was capable, but not much more than that. The current version, now that I updated the OS (and the hardware), does a much better job. It gets along way better with the .pdf fillable forms.

OK, and un-check the Google toolbar option when you do.

Also, I'd definitely run a scan on your computer with Malwarebytes.
