Patmans flush rocks!!!!!

Patman Flush is for real and is useful in testing situation as Patman pointed out and useful if last OCI went bad to clean things out as someone else suggested.

Now if you could do the flush and save the oil, run it through a filter cart, then re-use if for another flush. Maybe get 10 flushes for a gallon jug of cheap oil.

I had a car with 4 cylinder and center mounted oil cap that I used to use an extra quart of oil (Same as what I had been using GTX a lot back then) that I would squirt as far left and right (FWD) and it would flush a lot of dirty oil out and then refill with fresh oil. It made the oil stay cleaner longer. Made me feel better. If using Dino, I would not be opposed to a quick refill and run then drain and change filter to try and get as much dirty [censored] oil out as possible.

To those naysayers...I did a flush using Amsoil's version...it does take out a bunch of crud. I will say though...do it only once. I did it twice and the second time the mix was fairly clear.

AMSOIL Signature Series in there now and purrs like a kitten.
