Changed oil and filter in my 2004 Escalade EXT with LQ9 6.0 engine, 5000 miles on oil and filter, 184K on vehicle. Only a few small dirt particles left in can after draining, nothing in the pleats.
Filter is Parts Plus PH59EX, which is the synthetic media version. It's the longer LS engine filter, but used on many GM vehicles. Date code 22MYJ05 8748, I assume this is produced sometime in 2022?
Overall seems a pretty well made filter, nice heavy baseplate, nice metal inner tube with clean round holes, even pleat spacing, metal end caps, even gluing without slop.
I would say a good filter for a fairly low cost.

Edited: had typo- oil is 5000 miles, not 4000 as originally posted.

New filter is Carquest R85522 from Rock Auto clearance. Old oil was Mobil 1 5W-40 Euro (forget the exact details beyond that), new oil is Chevron Delo XSP 5W-40 diesel oil from AAP clearance.

The old 184K mile engine does not really burn or leak oil. Just very small amounts of burn or leak. Wish the rear pinion seal was better at not leaking, likes to drop a few spots when parked after longer drives.
