PARTS PLUS PF 48EX CUT OPEN

This filter was off a 2024 Chevy Trax. Almost 11k so yeah overdue for oil change.

Out/off: this filter and unknown 5w30 oil

In/on: PROTEC 57060 and Safety Kleen synthetic 5w30 oil.

I’d guess 5k one since the black Parts Plus ones I think are longer rated. Not sure though.

Weird the Parts Plus EX ones don't have a silicone ADBV-the less expensive Service Pro EX ones pretty much all do (E2222s).

It's turbo, a turbo 1.2 liter 3 cylinder. My SIL just bought one in the last month-she is going to be the guinea pig. They can be bought for ~$20K, so they are an interesting vehicle-although GM's track record on the little GDI turbo engines in the Equinox, etc. has been pretty bad. I've considered replacing the aging xB in my sig with one (or something similar)-but I hate the "stealership" experience too much!

When I buy another car it’s gonna be a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport or outlander AWD. No issues with them at work.
