Surprised the Mo paste didn't work. I've used the Honda Moly 60 on drum brake sliding points.
That said, short of any manufacturers' specific recommendation, Wurth HHS+ is my go-to for applications such as this. Excellent lubricant that applies as a liquid that will penetrate than set up to a stringy, tenacious film that is salt water resistant. I use it on everything from vehicle hinges, cables and slides, to an aircraft cabin heat control (metal on metal cable w/ bends) and, recently a stainless anchor swivel. Magic on vintage metal on metal shift lever pivots and linkages. Not inexpensive, but well worth it.
