Upgraded from A gladiator garage unit and wire rack to custom cabinetry.

Got about a 50% increase in usable space and a bigger footprint in every dimension.

Used a local cabinet guy and installer - no bandwidth to do it on my own so its feel like cheating and somewhat unworthy of commentary but it is a nice upgrade to an already cool house, and increases my pride in ownership as well as lets me own more labor saving high tech gadgets - a stand mixer is coming for one.

Where do you put shoes when coming in from the garage? I'm always curious about the practical stuff when it comes to home design.

Edit - I'm assuming that door in the top pic is the garage being it has a deadbolt.

Correct that's the door to the garage. There is a shoe tree/stand you cant see against the wall.
