Frank,
Is Auto RX as effective when used with GIII based oil such as i.e Amsoil XL-7500 or US made Castrol Syntec???

I know you recommend to use simple conventional oil. I assume you mean GI and GII based oils, but how about GIII ?? I know they are called synthetics, but are really made from conventional base stocks.

Also, how about using Schaeffer's 7000 Synthetic Blend for both, the 500 mile application cycle and following 2000 mile rinse cycle ???

Alex, I think Schaeffer Oil works very well for the RX treatment and rinse cycle. I used this oil during and after my last Auto-rx treatment and it was a bigger success at reducing my consumption compared to my first RX treatment, where I used it with Maxlife (during and after treatment)

Thanks Patman ..... reason I am asking is the fact that I want to do a ARX treatment on my Corvette next spring and don't want to go to just conventional juice....... if Schaeffer's works so well, I will use it .. no concern running the Vette on series 7000 blend.
