Hey guys. Quick question for using AutoRx. I have been running Mobil 1 synthetic but conventional is recommended for AutoRx cleaning. Should I go to conventional at the next oil change and then add AutoRx? Also, should I run conventional for the rinse cycle as well? I thought switching back and forth from synthetic to conventional wasn't recommended.

Thanks,
Craig

you are going to get conflicting advice about this, but here's one point of view. Just add the AutoRx 1500 miles before your oil change interval expires. Drive 1500 miles, then change oil to dino, and run 2000 miles for the rinse. Then go back to synth.

I got good results doing this. ymmv

Ted,

The Auto-Rx will liquify any sludge or build-up in you engine, it does not remove in chunks. In fact, it will help unclog a pickup screen if you have any problems.
