Making some boneless chicken breasts on the grill for dinner tonight. Wish I could find boned in breast, but boneless chicken breasts are all I found.

Usually I make my own marinade, 2 parts olive oil, 1 part lemon juice, and spices.

Today I decided to try some processed marinades. Couldn't decide which marinade, so decided to make two and have them taste tested tonight.

Which marinade do you think will taste better? Results reported in about four hours.

Guess best to have a Woodford and Diet Coke while waiting for the marinade to do its thing.

The verdict is- no contest, they are both to different to compare.

The Weber marinade is very lemony, make sure you enjoy lemon if selecting the Weber. A big plus with the Weber is no oil, so no flame up on a boneless chicken breast on the grill

The Chacheres is good stuff, has a nice "heat" to it, but overall, not a flavorful as one might expect. But a good marinade; it will flame up a bit.

Had some tiny potatoes in a cast iron grill to add to the meal, along with asparagus. I think under $25 all in, and enough chicken leftovers for two more main courses.

Sounds like a plan! My advice in all of this skip the Diet Coke in the Woodford… 🤣

Just my $0.02

Big fan of the Chacheres. I do chicken on the grill with it and then take for lunch for a few days.
