Ok will drive it more, would be good if I could take it for a long drive, the 7.5miles to work and 7.5miles back home just not enough to get it in the good zone I guess.
Checked trims today and big improvement again. Original Toyota air filter is in the car and I also cleaned out the maf connector again and used contact cleaner on its pins inserting and removing it a couple of times.
Idle LTFT is now -8.6 and this gets to 0 now at around 1700rpm.
I suspect my issue may have mostly been the connector for the maf, being 25 years old it's probably causing some conduction issues and cleaning it up seems to have improved it's readings.
So is -8.6 on idle ok or should I look to do more to get the figure down more?
