So arrow on the magnafine should be pointing at/towards pump...

Thank You Stevie :)
BTW I;m waiting for those RP filters

Because of this setup you will have to put it on the high pressure line with the arrow facing away from the pump. Can't put it on the low pressure return line.

If it was a conventional pump and not electric you could do it on the low pressure line.

EDIT: Thanks for the filters... Appreciate it!

It looks like the fluid returns to the electric pump and then gets recirculated from there back out the high pressure line with the sump above for extra fluid when needed.

I guess you could put it on the low pressure line with arrow facing the pump but I'm not sure it would be effective.

Isnt the fluid circulating ?

Pump via pressure to rack ... from rack to suction to pump and again...

So if its this way .. I will put on suction .. filtered ATF will flow in to pump ....

:D Or im just crazzy ?

anyway I plan to drain low pressure hose and refill pump .. to add some fresh fluid ... Before I was sucking fluid from reservoir but looking at this system It wasn't doing anything

No the electric pump only operates and circulates the fluid when the steering is in use.

And I guess you could put it on the "suction" / return line... Was confused for a minute about the setup. (On the phone while posting)

Arrow facing the pump if on this line...

He can't put it on the high pressure line. He'll blow the filter apart. It can operate in excess of 1000psi

Why can't he put it on the low pressure return/suction line? Looks easy enough to me.

If need be, buy a couple of feet of the tubing ..run a couple of curly cues (ques?) and zip tie the thing to one of those body holes.

Low pressure line is same as suction line.
YES it will work there......the fluid flows through the whole system, so it will be filtered just as well as it would be on the high pressure line.....however you don't want to subject the filter and its connections to the high pressure.....which is the reason for the advice to put it on the low pressure line.
As Gary Allan mentioned.....if need be, put some extra hose in to accomodate the filter.
Avoid super sharp bends in the line, and having the line rub against hot/sharp things.
That is what I did on my windstar.

Gary ... See my other post... I was confused looking at his diagram as I was gabbing on the phone at the time. I posted that he could put it on the low line afterward...
