Im an overthinker. Hey look at my crazy long posts even in here. My wife to some degree also, though she says I am worse though I am not sure if I am. She goes out and buys something after a lot of research and then decides later if it will get returned. I try to decide before purchase but I can spend hours researching stuff and I enjoy it.
I swear, it's rare I can leave the house without a package to drop off one of her returns at UPS, FedEx or USPS.
Am I Indecisive at times? Yeah, I drive her nuts with that overthinking.
With that said (yeah, another long post, I know)
I'm sure there are all different types and different degrees of those types. For myself (and my wife) we are pretty extreme but we dont see it as stress at all. We enjoy buying stuff, we buy quality stuff and further enjoy the research and once decided, we enjoy getting the best possible price. We get compliments on things we do to our home (and out past home) and my wife and I enjoy the quality and price we were able to do those things. I mean, people go out of their way to tell us. Almost like a competition with "industry" or industrial complex being it was done by us, it's less like everyone else.
Ok, so let me end this with what I wanted to say I would "throw out there" that people who keep their mind going, thinking all the time as long as you enjoy it and do not stress over it would be healthy. I think it's scientific fact that people as they age who have a passion for life and keep their mind working are less susceptible to dementia and other health problems. I can spend hours researching and I enjoy it, deep thinking, it's got to be better than sitting in front of a TV like some controlled drone, right?
If I am alive in 15 more years I'll repost if I still have all my "marbles"

and all my limbs from playing pickle ball... which I have to go do in a few minutes and wow, super warm, strong sun and windless day, its going to be hot on the court.
