Oversized Filter? PH3387A

Was wondering if there is an oversized filter for this application. Filter is the popular PH3387A, used on most every 4 and 6 cyl OHV GM motor.

Looking for something with the same specs, but larger volume.

The 3980 should work, it fits my parents montana which calls for a 3387a.

The 3980 is the oversize for the 3387.

Wahoo, that's my filter.

Oversize are: Mobil 1 M1-201, WIX 51036, NAPA 1036, Amsoil
EaO 23, Purolator Premium Plus L24011, Purolator Pure One PL24011.

I have run nothing but the larger filters on my Lumina 3.1

The EaO23 does not have a by-pass valve, so wouldn't that be a bad thing? I know you would have to leave it on a long time for it to clog beyond the point of flow but the vehicle requires a filter with a by-pass valve correct?

I think the GM motors using the PF47 filter all have an in-block bypass valve.

No sir. Check the specs on the Wix 51040, which is the "regular size" I.E. Mobil 1 M1-101, Napa 1040. It does not have a by pass valve either.
