Oversize filter for 92 Camry?

Hi everyone. I have been searching for an oversize filter for my 1992 Camry 2.2L 5SFE engine. I tried searching this site but no threads have given me an oversize oil filter number. The Fram # for OEM is PH-4967. Hope someone can help.

Have you ever try the filter for the GTS celica?,
I mean the toyota filter.

Toyota uses the same 3/4-16 thread as Ford.

I guess that if there is room, try the PH3600. Some Toyotas that I've change didn't even have room to scrape your knuckles!

The Celica GTS filter is the PH4386 and is just a little longer and should fit.

Just buy any other brand except Fram. I have cut up a number of brands equivilent to the Fram PH 3950. Even the Super Tech from Wal-Mart had twice the filter area. Hastings, PowerFlo purolator, and STP all had even more. The OEM AC PF 1177 had 3 times as much area as Fram. All the above filters were identical in size on the outside.

Don't worry, I don't use Fram oil filters. I was simply making a reference so it would be easier for everybody to cross reference.

Just checked the specifications on the '01 Celica GT-S oil filter and should fit. The gasket size is the same as the Camry, the outside diameter is the same, the height is 0.425" taller, and the same bypass valve pressure setting. Does anyone know the OEM bypass valve pressure setting for the 92 Camry 2.2L? Thanks everyone for your help.

cut them open.
some like wix - the bigger can has the same size filter element inside.
