Overcharged My A/C?

The EPA probably has an issue with an AC system designed to dump it's charge in the event of an overpressure. Hence, a cutoff switch.

That is what I thought too but what sense does that make? Don't the EPA say that 134 is safe for he ozone? Why would they have an issue with it? Anyone can buy 134 now because the EPA has said it was safe. So why not have a high pressure valve to release pressure?

No big deal but it just don't make sense to me why the new cars would not have one is all.
