Out with the oil, in with the Amsoil

In my high mileage Camry transmission, the Amsoil ATF fluid looked fine, but the Al was high and the Magnefine did not catch much of the Al, probably because the media filter of the Magnefine is a bit on the coarse side. If the particles would have been metallic then the magnet would have caught them, but not Al.

As others have said, color of the ATF is no guarantee.

But unless you have a big truck or Suburban, then no room to install a finer spin-on filter.

I purchased over 60 gallons of Amsoil ATF in the past 4 years and the fluid performance surpasses any mineal based fluid I have ever used.
I am glad that Amsoil makes this fluid or I would be changing Atf every 30,000 miles like I used to do from 1992/1999.

I agree
I maintain family vehicles so I can't run dino fluid. I don't want to change out fluid all the time.
