Quick update : finally have have time to fill up today, It still say 10% ethanol label, But I already look online to see what grade they offer no ethanol, its 90 grade, but I went inside and ask, and they say 90+, so I fill up with 93 octain. $3.34 which is not bad. I dont drive much to feel any different yet.

quick update : Im very impress with 100% gas, truck feel more power up the hill, and engine a little quiet, very smooth driving too. This will be the gas I fill up until gas get to 5 dollar a gallon

It does not "NEED" O2 from the alcohol.
And the O2 sensor will further keep things in order.

"Oxygenates are fuel additives that contain oxygen, usually in the form of alcohol or ether. Oxygenates can enhance fuel combustion and thereby reduce exhaust emissions. Some oxygenates also boost gasoline octane. The Clean Air Act requires use of oxygenated gasoline in areas where winter time carbon monoxide levels exceed federal air quality standards. Without oxygenated gasoline, carbon monoxide emissions from gasoline-fueled vehicles tend to increase in cold weather."

I don't think that oxygenates in gasoline are required anywhere in the summer, but the tax subsidies to big corn refiners and corn farmers, and their corresponding political contributions to The Best Congress Money Can Buy is the driving force behind ethanol in our gasoline year round.

That's insane. Mid-grade ethanol gas here is $3.35, with pure gas 87 octane selling for $3.45.

for testing I fill the mustang up with none ethanol gas grade 93, around 3 gallon, and it last me 4 day, usually it only last me 3 day or less on 87 10% ethanol gas, same type of driving. I dint note any increase in performing at all, just my fuel gauge is going down slowly. Next time fill up , im back to regular 87 2.97 a gallon

I've been running the ethanol-free gas for more than a year from a station about 3-4 miles from my house. Their prices are about 5-6% higher than Wal-Mart's ethanol-laced stuff, but I believe I get about 10% better gas mileage with the pure gas. Maybe one of these days I'll make a test: Run the tank almost dry, fill up with the cheap ethanol stuff, repeat for a month -- then go back to the other, under the same conditions (i.e., hot weather and frequent A/C use) for a month, and see for sure.
