It´s that time of year again! I went to Oshkosh probably in 2018 or 2019 and yearn to go back every year. But even if I can´t go, I get captivated by the live cams and the arrival/depature videos.

Fortunately, I get to go this year. We´re leving Friday and getting a hotel in Racine. We´ll then head into Oshkosh early Saturday and be there from morning through the night show.

Anyone else going? Any particular interesting aircraft you are hoping to see?

Here are some live cams to get the party started!

Never have been but missed a chance way back in the early 80's when a group of like minded pilots I was with had a chance to all fly to Oshkosh in a DC-3 and camp under the wings. Ahh the memories that would have made.

Oh wow! That kind of trip would be unbelieveable!

I´m hoping to get a motorhome in the next few years and when I retire, which will be in about 7 years, my wife and I plan to spend the whole week up there, God willing.

I can´t imagine the fun of camping under a DC-3 like that.

Imagine some little airport in Wisconsin seeing an A380 or a Concorde.
Both happened.
EAA hosts an awesome event each year.
I remember when someone chartered a Concorde and it flew into Indianapolis, I want to say in the early 1990´s. It stopped traffic on I465 near the airport as it approached. Dead stop. Everyone got out of their cars to see it. Amazing!

The time I was there around 2018, there was a C-5. I didn´t get to see it land or take off, but WOW.

I can only imagine how cool a Concorde or A380 would be there.

They had a U-2 last year. That´d be something to see.

I believe I read that a B-52 will be there and also a C-5 again. A C-17 arrived this morning.

Been watching stuff fly around past few days. Tomorrow will really ramp up things up seen few formations over the house yesterday.

We shall see. It doesn´t look bad on the videos. And the air quality index isn´t much worse than down here in Indianapolis.

I hope they get some rain in Alberta. Hate to see them dealing with all that up there.
