I have seen this kind of tool for years as a cast removal tool and was curious as to how well they worked (now sold since the patent expired). well I had some trim pieces that needed two angles, so the miter saw was kinda out of the question. I bought the dremel multi-max and have to say I'm impressed. If you are doing a bunch of repairs or improvements around your house, or you just want a cool tool, get one of these. This one was $99 but it was cheaper than the Fein and craftsman ones. I do recomend picking up an extra blade though. the best thing is that it cannot cut you or throw debris at you like a saw or dremel can.

I have the dremel one. Harbor freight makes one too.

I made the short sighted mistake of buying the blades from harbor freight. It was a gamble I lost. THey do not fit the dremel.

I have used it a few more times and it works great but all of the blades seem to be kinda soft....the scraper blade I bought worked, but did actually wear down. the fien blades are supposed to fit (maybe they're harder) but they are pricey!!
