This one is off my friends GMC Jimmy with the 4.3, I discovered possible sludge in the oil pan after transferring oil to disposal container. Suspect possible coolant into the oil, however, filter has no signs of water or excessive sludge in filter.

This filter held well, pleats were pretty uniform, no holes, or unglued end caps. Even the seam was secured well. The Seam is usually where the frams have problems. ADBV is standard nitrile, this filter has 5k miles, and he said 4 months.

Enjoy.

Looks like the O'R black can held up and did it's job. Now for the same price or less would I choose the black can over a more efficient Classic? No.

Thanks for the pics.

I would use this filter as part of their oil change special. The 7317 which both our cars takes is very close to $4.50. For that price I can get an ST for much less. This filter looks like it held up well for 5,000 miles.
