I bought this to try when I stalling new blades.

I love it.

It's so much easier to level the deck side to side and front to back. As long as you are on a level surface, with the tires evenly inflated.

You can also check for bent blades without removing, check the inside cutting edge of the blade, then the outside cutting edge.

I adjusted the front of the deck a bit over 1/4 inch lower than the rear of the deck.

For $10 it's a time saver!

I just purchased one of those a couple days ago but haven’t used it yet. Glad to hear that it’s a big time saver!

very handy tool. I use one for my JD LT150 every spring. Like OP said the key is to make sure the tires are properly inflated then start your measurements.

Just my $0.02

I bought new tires and switched types from a turf saver to a lug tire. Even though the stated size is the same, the back of the mower deck was 1/2 higher with the new tires. I had to raise the front of deck.
