You can operate as Windows 7 inside of Windows 8. The features and speeds are improved over whatever you are using (Me/XP/Vista/7....etc)

How do you operate as Win 7 inside of 8? I can't even play video I recorded with Win 7, can't find the accessories, etc.

It might be a little faster but I think I will reload 7.

You can always run another OS virtualized using something like Oracle's virtualbox.

Honestly, windows 8.1 is great for the home.

Put start8 on it, it is fine.
