I bought some Optimum No Rinse for the first time about 6 weeks ago during all winter storms. Seemed to work perfect to quickly wash the cars in the garage to get the winter crud off. About 3 weeks ago I had mixed up some ONR as a quick detailer and it worked pretty good at that too. At the time the squirt bottle was light blue color, but now after it sat for 2 or 3 weeks it is pretty much a clear liquid, maybe a little cloudy. I did try shaking the bottle to see if the blue color would come back, but no such luck.

So my question is, is it still ok to use a quick detailer even though the blue tint is no longer there, or should I dump it and make up a new batch? I mean either way is cool, it's not like you use a lot of product to mix up 32 ounces in the spray bottle, but if it's still good to use, I hate to dump it out.

thanks!

If you mix ONR with regular water, the blue tint will disappear. It something to do with the minerals in the water. If you use distilled water, it will supposedly stay bluish. It never bothered me to get distilled water.

I've had it sit two years in the garage (hot) and remain blue using distilled water. Your's is still good, just lost the color.

Thanks guys, good to know it's still good. I'll finish up this batch and I picked up a few extra gallons of distilled water tonight since I'm changing the antifreeze in the car tomorrow.
