Opinions on this Explorer grille?

My Explorer is black, and I'm looking to black it all out. Black grille and rear gate trim, debadge the chrome "Explorer XLT" and "4x4" lettering and tint the side windows/rear glass 30%.

I was looking for a black OE grille to replace my chrome one, until I came across this mesh grille. Much like the honeycomb grille used on police and fleet versions of the Crown Victoria:

Mine doesn't have the silver bumper trim or the orange foglights, but it seems to look much better than the factory chrome grille:

I like it. If the rest of the black trim is high gloss black then it works otherwise i think Satin finish may look better to my eyes but that's just me, everyone will see it differently.

I think it looks good. Better than the big chrome ones. It would look very police interceptorish if you got a Waag bar for it too.

Way off topic, but Kuwait looks a lot like any place in the US. I didn't expect to see that much grass and tress. I expected it to be more desert.

The picture is one I found online, that's not my Explorer. Don't have the silver bumper trim or orange foglights, but I do like the tinted out headlights.

Might be going a bit overboard here, but I'm thinking about mounting 17" Crown Vic steel wheels and putting some Ford center caps as well.
