Open pdf file

I am unable to open some pdf files. If I high light the file I get a drop down menu but, there is no option to open with etc. I would like suggestions on how to open these type of files. Thank you. Ed

Is the file named correctly as a .pdf?
Is it actually a pdf file?

The file shows a picture of a page with PDF within it. Ed

Sounds like one of those phishing emails.

These PDF files are leget files. I use W10 and Firefox.

But what PDF viewer application do you use?

Install Acrobat Reader DC or something similar.

OK I will install Acrobat Reader DC

Microsoft Edge can be used to view PDFs and is normally the default program.
