After draining the original dino from my rear diff and refilling with Valvoline synthetic, I noticed one of the bottles was 75w140. So the rear diff has 2/3 75w90 and 1/3 75w140. Manual calls for 75w90. Am I OK or should I drain and refill with 3 quarts 75w90?

Personally, I'd leave it in. I certainly don't think you'll hurt anything...in fact, the 75w-140 should protect very, very well. I seriously doubt you'll notice a decrease in fuel economy...which is the only downside I can come up with.
I did the same thing on my Ford Bronco. I have Amsoil 75w90 and 75w140 in there and it works just fine.
