yep the dodge hornet E-RT is also interesting but about 8k-10k$ too muchIts a great appliance, just not an appliance worth near 50k large. At that price point you can get a well equipped NX/x1 etc.
and... 11gal fuel tank..../barf

It seems that registrations of new EVs keep climbing every quarter here in the USA. Perhaps you would care to share some sources for this statement. Personally I have no doubt that sales of some models are declining as more and more choices enter the makrtplace, but aggregate sales continue to move up.This is going to hurt EV sales BIG TIME-they’ve already been declining…
Maybe. I'd rather have a discount that way than a tax credit.I'm likely a 2024 M3P customer. I wish the incentive would go away; perhaps Elon would drop the price?
I guess. Tesla has one of every one of their lines on the list except the Model S which costs too much to qualify, but the X does because it’s considered an SUV. Technically GM has more EV models even if they make less EVs.So actually GM is the most American company.
I owned a 2021 XSE. It was a penalty box, but it was pretty fast in a straight line for a RAV4, lol!Yeah I wouldn't call that a penalty box. I've never gotten that impression from any Toyota of the last 20 years. I've driven many Yaris and they've had hard plastic, but it felt like a quality product.
I should actually clarify that I've never driven a Toyota that didn't feel like a well engineered car. It might not be the car that I like, but it felt well built. If I could call a Toyota anything it would be boring just because my taste in vehicles.
Not all of them. Those cells won't support the kind of performance some buyers desire.Tesla is switching cars to Cobalt free non-flammable LIFEPO4 batteries which causes the credit to decrease/drop
Simple as that
That's how they got to be affluent. Only my poorest cousins regularly go to Starbucks.I dunno, affluent people in my experience are the stingiest.
And that's precisely why the fast ones are still getting the credit. Not all of them. Those cells won't support the kind of performance some buyers desire.
My GT didn't, but that's okay. I bought it knowing that and am good with it.And that's precisely why the fast ones are still getting the credit.
That would work for me; the tax credit would not. Also, some customers only qualify for partial credit because their tax burden is less than $7500.Maybe. I'd rather have a discount that way than a tax credit.
Yeah I'd have to look to see how I would benefit with a credit. I'd rather just pay less at the point of sale even if I would get the full credit. I never dug into it when we bought the Model 3 because we purchased it at the end of 2022 when the credit disappeared temporarily. That would work for me; the tax credit would not. Also, some customers only qualify for partial credit because their tax burden is less than $7500.
When the credit was halved in 2018, Tesla dropped prices.
Yeah it didn't stop me from our purchase either. The whole process of a tax credit just seems pointless. My GT didn't, but that's okay. I bought it knowing that and am good with it.
Chevy is launching all the EUVs they can, well soft launching since who knows when SOP is.I really want Equinox EV!!
I really want Equinox EV!!
Tesla shouldn't get any as Musk keeps saying how stupid subsidies are. Not seeing them turn those down. If you want an ev get one if not don't.What, 15 years of 10-20% discounts at taxpayer expense isn’t enough to make people happy? The most disgusting part of this is that the people that would actually benefit from this probably represented less than 5% of beneficiaries; we basically gave handouts to the top 5% of all wage earners, paid out of everyone’s pocket.
It's got to be a narrow wave of people actually getting full credits if it goes away after $150k a year single or $300k married. I'm sure it takes at least $100k to get the full credit by having enough taxable income. We're nowhere near the top 5% of wage earners at this level. It must be a narrow gap of between 15% and 18% if I had to guess. Last I heard about 18% make $100k or more. What, 15 years of 10-20% discounts at taxpayer expense isn’t enough to make people happy? I don't know if its something to turn down if he could. I thought that was all after purchase and filed with taxes. I don't know though, they don't shy away from advertising it on the Tesla website.Tesla shouldn't get any as Musk keeps saying how stupid subsidies are. Not seeing them turn those down.
