one person brake bleeding

I am getting ready to do a one person brake bleed on my vehicle, rock auto lists bleeders in the description the head size is "3/10th" of an inch. what diameter tubing does that equate to?

5/16" = 0.3125"
Get 1/4" in a softer material. Heat in boiling water before shoving on.
The clear tubing some hardware stores have is good.
