That so sucks! Keep kitty litter on hand?

edit:
Not trying to make you feel bad, but, I suppose you perched the pan atop that rock wall to avoid bending over unnecessarily.
Lower is safer for most loads.
Everybody needs to bend their middles more.
...avoidable mess...sorry for your pain...just sayin'...believe me, absence of precision, you pay...been there.

meh they sprayed the roads with worse for many years.
just throw a bunch of kitty litter on it and then put fresh down after its soaked
do that until it isnt doing anything after sitting on it for a day or 2

then work some dishsoap or laundry detergent in with a brush and a little water.
then wick up with kitty litter again..
call it a day.

I've done worse. Did a tranny on a farm tractor one spring. Wanted it bad, so two of us were working on it over-time.
About had it buttoned up that night, so I told him to go home and I would finish.

Had to refill tranny thru the cab. I poured in 15 gallons. Got out and had all of it on the floor. He had not installed the drain
plug. Talk about a mess.

Haha. But I only laugh because I’ve been in a similar spot. I managed to step in and then kick over the used oil pan. Luckily it was on a pit mat that contained the majority of the mess.

Stuff happens. Ooooof!
Our biggest mess was the first oil change I watched my youngest son do to his hand me down Honda Accord. I did not watch close enough. Neither of us noticed that the old oil filter gasket stayed on the car. That is the only time it has happened to us. We finished up and when he cranked it up. SPLAT!!!! Oil shot all over the place before we even knew what happened.. Painted oil across both my knees and the clean white painted garage walls!
