? on spray wax, commercial kind

I just got some spray on wax, it is Hi Temp brand and is the kind they use in the car wash tunnels. This particular kind is diluted 10 to 1, wash car, spray this on and wipe in with M/F cloth, rinse car and dry. It leaves a shiny car and the water runs off very well other words dries very quickly. Has anyone of you used it and how much actual wax is left on, I am sure you would have to use it bi weekly since it is so quick, just hoping it is just a oily film being applied that might ruin the finish later on.

What is it exactly? The HT #.

It probably won't hurt anything if they spray it at car washes. Probably not much worse than stuff like Eagle One Wipe & Shine.

Assuming this is a some kind of "hot wax" its a cationic emulsion of light silicones/mineral oil. Harmless, probably not very durable, but otherwise harmless.

hi temp, HT-32 very easy, even easier than I mentioned earlier. I just found out all I need to do is wash and then spray it on 1 panel at a time then rinse, it is suppose to be good for everything, windows mirrors and rims. I will try and see if just spraying on works as good as it did wiping it in.
I am trying to find more products like this that is highly concentrated as mixing and selling off some of it helps to pay for mine for free.

Between the blazing sun and passing rain showers down here in the jungle I have found any spray on wax does not last more then a hour.

Try Optimum Spray Wax. The longevity rivals many of the high dollar paste waxes and the look is certainly there.

That has to be the funniest statement I've read in a long time. Optimum Spray wax has been known to last as l o n g as 2 weeks under some conditions.

So glad that you are easily amused. It's also been known to last 6 weeks, what's your point? Even a top paste is good for a month to six weeks. I never said it was extremely durable, I said it was on par with a paste wax. It's just not that difficult to comprehend for most folks.

I will give Optimum a try...Just looking for something for in between waxes.

You will be pleased. It has carnauba wax in it so the look is very nice. It's meant for a clean car, not to be used as a quick detailer that contains cleaning agents.
