I think it is very narrow minded to exclude opinions and other factors that disagree with your own view.
Usually that it what folks use ignore for on most forums.

Ironically the ones I found it necessary to ignore have since ended up on the ban list anyway.

For me anyway, the few that I felt necessary to ignore were on that list because I didn't feel they were respectful to other posters or had an axe to grind and used every outlet possible to do so.

I have never put anybody on an ignore list. I did make a complaint years ago about a guy who was making some incredible demeaning statements about other people and if I remember correctly he even made some veiled threats. But that was a long time ago.
I figure everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I do get tired of people who like to attack somebody else personally rather than coming up with logical counter arguments.
But usually people who like to attack other people personally here wind up getting banned anyway. It is just a matter of time.
