I'm waiting in my car at a red light. A white SMART pulls up next to me. Some pip-squeak is sitting behind the wheel, decked out with bling like some hip-hopping rapper. He gives me a hairy eyeball. The lights turns green and Slim Shady floors it. He takes off like a midget out of [censored] and zips around a hairpin turn so fast that I half expect someone may have to fish the punk out of Lake Merced.

Lesson of the story? If you want to race, do it in the most fuel efficient car you can buy.

Slim's tags spelled OMGHAHA.

And he probably thought he was God's gift to women...I see punks like that everyday. I think they are referred to as the "Y" generation..."why do I have to do that?" "me, me, me, me...what can I do to make things easier for me?"
There used to be simpler times...

I recently made a trip to Reno and back (18 hrs). I was amazed at the amount of Prius and other hybrids passing me on I-5 and I-80 when my speeds were 70-80 mph. I thought people bought them for economy?

maybe you saw this guy

Or maybe they think the faster and the more they drive the more they save?

Naw, he was slow. I launched in second normally and I took off much quicker. He only passed me noisly once I got off the gas at about 40 mph. He then proceeded to go about 60, which, given the diminutive size of the SMART, looked much faster and quite preposterous. He "almost" drifted through a curve next to the lake.

Doesn't mean anything...except to Def Leppard. IIRC, it was their way to make fun of counting/pacing the beginning of a song.
"1,2,3,4......."

I didn't think that they were the first to use it. I thought someone ...hmmm...foggy mountain breakdown type group ..ah ..who cares

Maybe it was John Browning conjugating a Latin verb?
