old timer still working at 95

There is an alternator and starter shop in Fontana,ca. The son is running the place now buy the father was mid 90's last time I was there and he was rebuilding an alternator behind the counter.

I will never retire because I can't sit still for very long. Covid lockdown was miserable for me. I need to remain physically and mentally active, especially during the winter months.

Came up in my feed as well. Nothing wrong with voluntarily extending your employment or working life as one sees fit. It's hard to let go of a life of good information so there are folks that will keep at it for as long as they can. Has a Social Security check so really not mandatory clock-in.

He's building hot rod engines in his 90's...Doesn't exactly sound like a terrible gig!!
