Old stock Kubota Super UDT2, safe to use?

I have 2.5 gallons of 6 year old Kubota Super UDT2. Is it safe to use in my Kubota BX23S or should I just buy some new stuff? Cost isn’t an issue, it just seems wasteful to toss the fluid.

I wouldn't worry about that. Six years is nothing , use it..

Even if it was 16 years old it'd use it as long as it was sealed and isn't contaminated.

units stored outside has used fluid that is much older than that, and run for 1000s of hours. Use it.

I ended up using the old stock fluid as everyone suggested. It was even older than I thought. Production date of June 2017. Came out of the bottles almost crystal clear. Transmission is running smooth and sounds quieter.

My only complaint of Super UDT2 is that it's so clear that I can't see it on my sight glass. John Deere has a fluid dye that will apparently make it red. I think I'm going to try it.
