Found this while scouting some antique stores in North Alabama.

Lacquer paint required a lot of rubbing to maintain the shine.

I used it on my MGB back in the early eighties.
Looked really good on the lacquer paint.

I used this stuff too back in the 60s....It was a great product and took an entire afternoon to do the whole car...but the end results were worth the time and effort...

I remember! That's why I stayed away from it.
I tried it on a section but, I had to use a buffer to remove it. Or I should say, a buffer was beneficial if you had one.
I agree, the shine was as good as you could get back then.
